Watching the Pens-Bruins game on stream (nine straight!) and I just have to ask: is Honda trying to make me ship Nick Lidstrom and Corey Perry?

It's a cute ad, but I'm kind of confused.

Ha! All the talking cars in all the ads should get together and play sports, yes.

I have no idea! It can't be the offseason, since one of them might have gotten a hat trick. I assume they're in Anaheim, since Perry's driving and they're not dressed for Detroit weather during 75% of hockey season. Maybe the Red Wings are in town to play the Ducks, but the game is the next night? But I really don't think they'd be practicing together then....Or something like the All-Star game, I suppose? And they walk out with a bunch of other people, but I can't tell who. So little sense!

I just watched it again - still no sense! I'll add to your clues: they don't *look* like they just finished playing hockey (despite the dialogue), since they don't have wet hair (from sweat or shower).

I love the "Really" at the end though!

Hm, true! I can only conclude that they've just come from filming some other promotional thing.

Yes! Perry's pissy "Really?" at the octopus was totally what made the ad for me.
